2017 Tournament TOURNAMENT RULES

Rules RULES POOLS This site will be used to run two pools. The Main Pool will consist of filling in a complete, 64 team bracket. The Second Chance Pool will start after the completion of the 2nd round of the Main Pool. You can enter either pool or both. ENTRY FORMS Use the links on this page to fill out a complete bracket. Your name and email address are required. I will not give out your email address to anyone. Enter as often as you like. You must use a different name on each entry sheet. If you have multiple entries, put a number after your name (ex: Sam Gordon1, Sam Gordon2, etc). You can use the same email address for multiple entries. Entries must be received by the first tip on Thursday, March 15. ENTRY FEES The entry fee for the Main Pool is $5. I must receive your money by the first tip on Friday, March 16. The entry fee for the Second Chance Pool is $1. Money must be received by the first tip on Friday, March 23. Any entries that haven't been paid for will be dropped before Friday's games begin. If necessary, mail (or Fed Ex) entry fees to: Sam Gordon 1065 Russell Cave Rd Lexington, KY 40505 SCORING You get points for each team you correctly pick to advance. As the tournament goes on, the point values go up. For the second chance pool, there are "base points" for each round, PLUS bonus points for each teams seed. Example: If you correctly pick a #3 seed to beat a #1 seed to advance to the Elite Eight, you'd get 1 base point, then 3 bonus points. Yes, you can "go over". This is not The Price Is Right. If necessary, the Most Correct First Round Games Picked, and the Most Correct Second Round Games Picked will be the second and third tie breaker respectively. MY RIGHT TO ENTER I will enter into the pool. My family members also might enter into the pool. All entries will be available for downloading or printing once the games begin.
